My mower was bogging down when cutting blades turned on. I took apart fuel line to clean filter and air is in it now. Also found very clogged air filter cleaned that to. Trying to get it running again, but don't know how to get the air out of the fuel line.

Never had a problem with air in a fuel line preveting a mower from running before. Are you saying the mower won't start now? Did you figure out why it was bogging down? Were you cutting very low or was the grass very high? Was the grass wet? Is the underside of your deck clean?

I ran my LX277 out of gas and when I refilled it would not suck the gas into the carb. so I took the line off at the engine and pulled the gas thru with a big syringe before attaching the line.

Could be needle sticking or binding in the seat causing the fuel starvation. Or perhaps some trash over the seat in the upper chamber fuel inlet area? Like the other mechanic said and I agree...I've never heard of air in the line causing fuel starvation, or having to put suction on it to get fuel to the carburetor other than a fuel pump going out. It would run for a minute or so until the fuel in the bowl was used up, then quit. Would have to re-fill the bowl again by whatever means but if the pump was out it wouldn't run.
