hour meter

I have a "white" lanw mower and i put it on my trailer today and the hour meter was showing 180 hrs. When i took it off the trailer it showed 205 hrs. the key was off and out of the machine.

Is my meter screwed. do i need to replace it?

25 hours in less than a day. Either you went through a time warp or your meter is bad. Could it have been 18.0 and 20.5 hours in tenths.
