i own a john deere x575. i am starting to have a fuel issue. i have replaced the fuel filter and the air cleaner while i was at it. when i get down to half a tank the tractor wants to stall out or does if i am on an incline. when i look at the fuel filter, the fuel is barely there or very low compared to what should be in the filter. i am opening to ideas at what it might be before i start tearing the tractor apart to get to the fuel pump

Does the fuel pipe go inside the fuel tank from the top. Possibly hole in suction tube in fuel tank.

Most likely crud blocking off the fuel suppy inside the fuel tank.
Some Deers have a replaceable filter inside the tank ( to protect the fuel filter )
You will be amazed just how effective a plug a couple of blades of grass can be.
