This week I picked up a Honda HRX217VKA from Home Depot. I talked them down to $525 since it was the display and the last one. Looking through the manual, I noticed that it was an old version of the manual (still said 3 year warranty). I called honda and gave them the serial number to find out that it was built in Feb 2009. I would still get the current 5 year warranty since I bought it after Jan 1, 2010.
Is it a big deal that it sat on the showroom floor for 2.5 years? No gas in the tank, no wear on anything, totally clean under the deck so I don't think it was a previous return or anything.
