Bought a new Honda hrx217hya push mower 3 weeks ago. This mower has a blade brake clutch, allows engine to continue running when emptying the bagger. My problem begins after engine is warm, and have been mowing a while. Stop mowing to empty the bag, and move throttle to slow idle position. Replace bag, move throttle back to fast position. The engine continues running slow instead of immediately returning to fast rpm. As I continued mowing, on the final bag emptying, I did not know if would return to fast rpm at all, but it finally did.
The dealer said they have not heard of this problem. Is this something I can adjust, or should it be taken to the dealer?
