Got my hands on an hrx 217 that was abandoned on a vacated property.
Had wrong spark plug in it which ive swapped to correct one. Changed the oil. Now starts first pull.
Had to install blade break cable as that was missing. Thats now working
Only thing i cant seem to get working is the transmission. Doesnt want to propel.
The ratchets are clicking when moving forward. When i engage the self propel lever and pull backwards it rolls back and the axels spin. Manual says it shouldnt do this.
Also the transmission cable wen engaging the self propel level on any speed only moves the lever a little bit on the transmission. Maybe about 1cm. Ive tried adjustinf but thats the max i can get
