My trusty old Honda mower broke the discharge guard spring while moving from mulch to side discharge.
I have a new spring but I cannot figure out a way to reinstall it. I have attempted many approaches but I either don't have tension on the spring and the discharge cover is loose OR the tension is so tight I cannot attach the bolts to the deck.
What is the proper way to reinstall the spring so the proper tension is maintained?
Any help or diagram would be appreciated.
