ncsinct Forum Newbie May 27, 2023 #1 The spindles on my CD4542 Honda mower deck have gone bad. I have the new bearings but the old spindles are not coming apart. I even took them to a Honda dealer without success. Has anyone found a spindle that can be used as a replacement? T tombauer Forum Newbie Jun 10, 2023 #2 They come apart from the bottom as I recall and you may need a big press. Never found one that would not come apart.
