Can anyone give me advice on how to install the shorter drive belt on my Honda 4514H? How do I keep the longer belt from falling off completely while installing the shorter one?

I assume you mean the deck to motor belt as the drive is a hydro and has only one belt

Actual there is no motion drive belt as this mower is shaft drive.
Blade belt will not fall off while changing the Mule belt.
