I have an older Homelite line trimmer, over 20 years old. Still runs fine. However the fuel lines from the gas tank to the carb cracked and I replaced them. The fuel lines are inserted onto nipples in the carb, no problems. At the fuel tank they are just shoved into holes at the top. When I run the engine, fuel sloshes out around the fuel lines in the holes. The lines are the same size as the originals but apparently not snug enought to pevent the small gap. What would be best to seal this space and stop the sloshing?
