I joined this forum on Tuesday but never followed up, because right after I joined, my daughter informed me that Hurricane Irene was headed for my state (Maryland). So I dropped everything and worked feverishly to prepare for the coming storm (prep paid off BTW - no serious property damage).
I have a Toro 42" zero-turn which I use on my 1.5-acre lawn. Had it since fall 2003 and it's served me quite well, except it's been acting weird lately; I'll be posting a question about that in a separate thread.

Thank goodness you didn't have any serious damage! Preparation does help though.
