hit and run

Was at my 8th house of the day and I walked around the passenger side of my truck and saw that someone has smashed into the side of it.

Was not at this particular house as this time the passenger side was against the sidewalk. I always park in front of my customers houses same spot same time every week. This was not here yesterday as I washed my truck and would have noticed.

Got a quote for 1200$ for body damage. Or $300 deductible on my insurance with a 8% monthly price increase and a higher deductible next time. So naturally ill do it my self, used rubber mallets and a scissors jack to push it out best I could. And am in the process of smoothing with body filler. Next I will sand well, primer, I have already grabbed the right paint, next up clear cote and wax.

Oh the best part this all happened today, and its my birthday yay

Wow...can't believe someone just did that and left. I woulda owned up to it...not that I would ever be that reckless.

I know. The thing that annoys me most is that it had to have been a neighbor to one of my customers pulling out of a driveway. And I can't go around acusing people... Now if I see a neighbor with a smashed up bumper covered in red paint all hell is breaking loose

I have a good one for y'all. I have been driving the biggest P.O.S. ( 2007 ford explorer that broke down on me twice and had to be towed) at the sheriff's office waiting patiently for my turn to get a new vehicle. Finally, I get a 2014 ford f 150 this past December. Got it all set up like I wanted hidden emergency lights and everything. I left on a trip to East Tennessee for training today. I made it east of Nashville on I 40 and two cars in front of me slam on their brakes. I had enough time to stop before hitting the car in front of me, but I got rear ended by a car that was so close behind me I couldn't even see it in my rear view mirror. I got out and checked to make sure the other driver was ok. He was Mexican. NO ENGLISH, NO LICENSE, NO AUTO INSURANCE, NO GREEN CARD!!! On top of it all he tried to leave. What I made out was " You ok, I Go.". If I hadn't turned on my blue lights when he hit me for traffic I think he would have bolted. I'm beyond pissed!!!

The person who hit your truck was a coward and he didn't man up to tell someone (or you), and the person ran like nothing happened.

I had a GMC K1500 dump truck, I was parked in front of a client's house one day, and a drunk driver in a Pontiac Sunfire clipped my drivers side fender real bad, non fixable, so I went out and got a replacement and painted it copper brown to match my truck. I would have gotten in my truck and chased him down, but the fender was so badly damaged that I couldn't move the drivers side wheel. I was reading in the newspaper two months later and that drunk driver totaled his car and was killed.

The sheriff came and picked my truck up today. The guy hit my truck with a v w jetta. He turned just before hitting me, went under my bumper on the left side, and hit my back left wheel. Blew out tire, bent the rim, bent the leaf spring, and bent my axle! Still royally pissed. He should have not been in the country, much less driving on the highway.

You dang skippy and until we get Pro America politicians in Washington our problem is only going to get worse.
Also in my opinion if Thompson would have gotten in the race earlier when he was first approached and stayed with it, things might have been different today, that guy is a Patriot and I wonder if he could have overcame the race voting and pulled the election over to our side.

exotion sorry about your truck, dang shame a man working for a living goes to his vehicle and finds it damaged, but the only good thing is if they would have hit your left side there you more than likely could not have repaired it yourself due to the storage box in the bed of those trucks.

In my rural part of Ohio we have no illegals. All lawn care people are white. All farm field pickers are young American kids from high school. I worked picking produce all high school summers (a job we keep hearing is only suitable for Mexicans). It's not a problem here whatsoever because people work hard. Now when I worked in Hippy Yellow Springs(Portland Oregon of Ohio) it was full of Illegals.
Took my brother 3 weeks in New Mexico to find some one just to speak english to tile his first floor. He was still Mexican but legal. In the flyers of lawn care people there sometimes it says "We speak English!" Sad day when that's how low things have progressed.

Here in dalton ga we have more Mexicans then there are in Mexico.

There are stores I will not go to because they hang out looking for day work.

Have a few around that cut grass with a push mower hanging out the back of a car with four different wheels on it.

I know accidents happen, and had it been someone who was following the law and followed the proper channels when entering into the U.S. I would have just been glad no one got hurt. That wasn't the case, however. Now the county insurance will have to pay for repairs, which will affect premiums and the budget. I'm sure the budget allowed for the possibility of an accident, but it isn't right. Not only will it cost our county money for repairs, but you can bet this guy will not ever pay a penny of it back. Once he is released he will just disappear and never return to court.

Yep exactly. Waste of taxpayer money that we pay and they don't. The free lunches need to stop.

I had a deadbeat renter that got 1200 from an assistance program. She was simply too lazy to work, no reasons whatsoever she shouldn't of been working. In the process of eviction she was able to use taxpayer money to cover rent...I should have gotten her car for overdue rent but she got bailed out by taxpaying Americans.

Were there no CCTVs around the place? You might want to ask. You need justice for you car. If I was in your shoes, I wouldn't let it slide just like that.

I asked my customers no one has cameras or saw anything. All stops were residential :(
