I put new regulator on it , still no charge? have like 21 volts ac from stator , and from the regulator center no dc but have ac ? do i need a new stator ?

what's the year of the tractor? Or give the model number, it should be on a tag under the seat if you flip it up.

Okay you should have the 15A 3 terminal voltage regulator. First make sure the following two things are done.
  1. The regulator case is grounded to engine and frame via the engine crankcase.
  2. That battery voltage is present at the B+ terminal. Without battery voltage present the regulator will not work.
Both of these must be present in order for the regulator to work.
