Just found this site as was hunting down repair ideas.
I'm from western Sydney area and own a domestic cleaning business in which has also taken on lawn and garden services.
I currently have a few push mowers (7 I think) and a couple of ride on which I'm rebuilding at the.moment from rovers to Greenfields.
So I look forward to chatting with.you all in the near future.

Greenfields are an Australian owned and made brand. Built with either Briggs and Stratton, Kohler, Kawasaki or Honda engines ranging from 12-20HP.

Rovers are also an Australian brand. variety of engines etc.

ill post some before and after pics of my greenfield shortly. Its not a big unit but sure works well.

Thanks Aussie mower guy for the response. Guess it should have occurred to me that the two you mentioned might be brands. I noticed that you did not include any Australia based engine manufacturers. Does Australia have a domestic branded engine for power equipment?

Umm very good question, it never occurred to me. We have 'Brands" like Greenfield and Victa but as for the motor..........I cant say I know of any Australian. 98% of my mowers have a Briggs.

There are cheap crap motors around but no idea where they come from.
