I will be checking in occasionally to find out how to take care of my machine. If anyone can provide me with a place to download a manual (FREE) for my T1870, I would deeply appreciate it!
Thanks and take care!

There are a few places you can get parts manuals online... but 'owners or users manuals' are not so available... at times they show up on eBay...

Would u know how a T1870 differs from my T1770? Mine I bought new in 2007.

What model Kohler engine do you have, and size of deck?

I purchased a Manual at that time from Kubota. I was a little shocked at the cost. If the machines do not differ much, I would be happy to share any part of the Manual, that your needing, but in that it is almost as big as a "Telephone Book", it would not be easy to photocopy.

Reason I joined this forum , just a few days ago was in hopes of finding another "T-Series", Kubota Owner, to exchange experiences, and technical information with. My search for the T1770, came up with nothing. Then I decided to try a search for the highest T Model at the time I bought mine and your post came up.

Looking forward to hearing more about the history of your Kubota, as well as what repairs you might have made on it?

The T1870 has a FH531V Kawasaki 18hp engine and a RCK48LT17A 48" mower.

Same chassis and tranny as the T1770.

I also own a T1770 bought in April of 2004.

Kubota sometimes uses different engines.

Attached is a PDF of the specs circa 2004.
