I often wonder what those arrows and the "P" on the pump mean? 🤔
 
Open the low speed jet a little... Also, I know that a plugged air filter on a chain saw will cause it to surge or even die. But that's a small 2-stk - don't know if it causes the same problem on a larger 4-stk engine.

Generac had this issue with Generac branded air filters they sourced from Malaysia. The specs from Generac called for a fireproof coating on the filter element. It was fireproof, alright. Under light load and lighter airflow requirements it was just fine. But if a heavier electrical load showed up the engine would start to wheeze and surge from the higher airflow demand. Found that issue on the first ice storm. Said to myself it's either air or fuel.....popped the lid on the air cleaner, lifted the filter and all was right with the world again. Replaced with a Wix.

Did not see your results posted previously. pg#2 step 13.

The reason I said spark plug is a measley spark plug curing a issue is one issue easily overlooked and can really make a guy fell weak upstairs, especially when you have done all the other deeper more extensive things first.
