HELP!!!!

HELP!!!!
Hello, this is my first post. I am having a problem with my mower and I'm hoping you guys can help!!!
My Craftsman walk-behind self-propelled mower no longer "pulls" or propells like it used to. I thought the drive cable was worn or stretched so I replaced it, but the problem continues. Should I change the drive belt? It doesn't feel too loose, but I can't think of anything else that would abruptly cause this problem.

Any advice would be GREATLY appreciated!!!

I would check to see if you can adjust the drive cable at all. If not the drive belt might feel snug but it could be worn out and slipping bad. Good Luck!
