Hi all, i was posting to see if i got get help with my lesco

here are the specs

its a lesco 36"

from the 96-98 model year ,
the model is 3wh3795

it has a kawaski engine fc420 14hp

The problem i am having is find a replacement transmission.

The trannny works but it has a big whole in the bottom. A chain came out of it but somehow it still runs. I think it will lock up soon so i want to get it rebuilt or buy a new one.

i dont know what the part nubmer for it is beacuse on the front part there is jbweld over it.

Anyone know where i can find. get the part number.

i really want to get it fixed but i dont want to pay more than 200-300 bux, i only paid 500 for the mower.

Any help would be awesome thanks
attached is a word doc with the pics

I tryed to look at the pictures but really couldn't make very much of them. My first thing I would do is start looking in local mower salvage yards , next look on E-Bay, and then salvage yards on the net. If that doesn't work for you why not over haul what you have before it gets too bad. and as far as the hole in the case goes patch it. May something like JB weld

do you know of any salvage yards or websites?

i paid 500 for the mower a year ago and i dont feel like spending more than 300 on this old thing, who knows when the engine will quit or something else will fail.
any sugestions?
i am about to just buy a used one for parts but all i need is the transmission.

lesco kicks exmarks *** anyday
