Help wiring ventrac 12 volt plug to 2 wires from a spreader attachment

I have the 12 volt plugs already wired to my ventrac but I need help wiring a third party spreader. It has a red and black wire but I need help attaching it to a ventrac 4 pin plug. I found a wiring diagram but can’t seem to get it to work. Any suggestions? Thanks

Thank you for the offer! I figured it out after hours of messing with it. The rear 12v that was installed by the dealer didn’t have power. I just assumed since it was new it should work. I guess that’s what happens when you assume!

Yelp assuming things can get you into trouble at times. But I am still curious about the reversing feature mentioned on that diagram.

The spreader was a cheap generic one on amazon and it didn't have any wiring information or instructions.
