Fuel Help, why is this part of my carb leaking gas?

Hi all,

I've just finished cleaning out the carb on my JD LTR166. When I put it back together and on the machine it started blowing gas out the little nipple above the clamp screw in the picture. It happens at about half throttle and less, at wide open it stops. I'm no small engine mechanic, so really not sure what is causing this. I wonder if it has something to do with the needle valve seat, but don't even know if they are connected? Any help is appreciated.

Air filter is to the top of pic, engine to bottom.

Okay, I've been looking closer at schematics, and almost positive it's the needle valve seat. I've looked and looked for a part number for just the seat, or even a kit that includes the seat, but can't find one. Would the seat normally just come with the needle?

Sorry, the engine model is 303777, type 1147-E1.

It looks to me like you might of broke off the end of that nipple off ? I say plug it with something like epoxy or seal-all. Most of the newer carburetors the needle seat is non-replaceable.

Figured it out guys. The float itself was binding on the pin, I must have tweaked one of the float eyes the pin goes through somehow. Straightened it out, and it's moving freely now.
