I have a 1972 Lawnboy 2 stroke and the starter rope spring or something is messed up. I have the parts to repair it but I have little experience with this repair. Does anyone know of a dealer or person who repairs Lawnboy lawnmowers in Seattle/Tacoma/Olympia area. I hate to make the lawnmower into a boat anchor.

I love the sound of the 2 stroke and it runs great other than this new issue.

If you already have the parts any lawnmower repair shop should be able
to repair it.

The issue is the spring return. I have the return spring and whatever else goes with it but no one seems to want to touch it. They generally repair other brands and the Lawnboy has a unique starter mechanism.

Thank you for the comment. I will keep looking.
