That is a nice find as long as the compression is good and there is no excessive play in the connecting rod wrist pin or the crankshaft. Judging from the amount of greasiness on the top of the deck, it will need new crankshaft seals. The carb and the gas tank will both need cleaning. It may need a new foam air cleaner element. Check for spark. Take off the muffler and clean out the exhaust ports if they are plugged with carbon. Plugged ports will cause either no start or hard starting. Look through the port holes and see if there is any excessive scoring on the piston. I’d replace the spark plug and the fuel line. These are just some of the basics you will need to perform to get it up and running again. Without looking it up, I can tell you have a D engine Lawn Boy with a 19 inch deck from the mid to late ‘70s. I don’t know what your mechanical skills are or how familiar you are with older 2 stroke Lawn Boys, but I think you will find them easy to work on. Your mower looks like it is quite savable. If I would’ve found it, I would’ve been all over it.
