Found this site while researching info about riding mowers. Mine is on it's last leg. Hope I can find some useful info on this site. I can't afford a new mower, so I will be looking for a good used one.

Try your local Craigslist, or ebay. Keep an eye on the yard sale section in the newspaper as well.

Yes, I check out Craigslist daily. I have found some good (maybe even great) deals out of my budget range. It's sort of like finding a fantastic deal on a 2010 BMW when all you can afford is a good deal on a 2006 Chevy Malibu. I will keep looking, and with the good info that I have found on this site, I can make a better informed decision.

I know exactly what you mean. If I ran across a 1 year old Bugatti Veyron with 10 miles on it at only $50k, they might as well be asking $1M. 'Cause either way, I can't afford it! :thumbdown: Just keep looking, more mowers should be showing up as spring approaches.

Yes, all of my lawn equipment has come from Craigslist! I just can't afford to buy new...
I am loyal to Briggs engines, they seem to just never quit...
You'll find a good deal eventually...:thumbsup:
