GXV 140 unidentified engine part

Hi,

I've pulled apart my Honda HRU215 mower because of an oil leak. All went reasonably smoothly but as you'll notice in the photo, there's a small white plastic part that has come loose from somewhere. Does anybody know where it belongs? My guess is somewhere on the large plastic cog?

Cheers,

Len

Thanks for the tip.
I live in Australia so I'll try and track some down locally in the first instance.

Honda Australia have a reasonable warehouse so it should be available fom your local friendly Honda dealer.
Almost no one sells genuine Honda parts on line down here so most of what you see will be after market parts of dubious quality.
In the USA Honda nation are pretty good but freight from the USA is not Cheap.
Buy with your credit card direct from a retailer & save the 10% GST you get hit with from Ammo-Zone or Evilpay.

Good advice thanks. My Honda dealer has been useful in either getting parts in or letting me know what Honda dealers in Australia have the part in stock. As it's over 20 years old some of the parts take a while to track down.
