Hello All. My GT235 keeps throwing the motor to deck drive belt. I can seem to get it adjusted right.
Do I have to adjust the motor pulley lower to keep it on? Any help would be great. Thanks.

Start by making sure the deck is adjusted correctly front to back because too low in the front can put too much angle on the stack pulley on the rear of the deck.. And then check the bearings in the stack pulley as well as the bushings in the tension are that the pulley attaches to All will cause the pulley to tilt toward the engine and could cause the belt to jump off.

First law a science
Watch look & learn
So get some one to drive the mower while you watch the belt to see where it is jumping from
I use a Go-Pro clamped to the foot boards and film the belt tossing a couple of times
Then replay it frame by frame
Once you know where then you can work out why
As Illingne said too steep an attack angle will throw the belt
Excessive wear in the tension arm or pulley will also throw the belt
