I parked it a year ago and it was running fine now it has no spark? I cleaned the coil and flywheel and still have none. How do I hotwire it and bypass all the safety switches so I can start the process of elimination. I really don't like electrical stuff. Thanks

Done the standard steps....?.. battery checks/B.terminal clean/Ignition
switch and start solenoid wiring tight?

Yes checked all that I just don't have any spark at the plug, I would like to bypass all the safety switches so I can start it and maybe work my way back to find the culprit, Thanks

Have you tried disconnecting kill wire from coil?

As Mike says, start there.
But thinking your way... know the "spark" is generated from a
stand-alone coil/s.
The controls are entirely separate, electrically.

So... using your preferred hunting method?
Disconnect the battery and tape up the bare connects.
Take off the wire to fuel solenoid and apply 12VDC to it.
Go backwards in the circuit from there.
No joy, all good?
Take off the wire from the starter solenoid and apply 12VDC
to it. Go backwards in the circuit from there.
If you have lights fitted, take the bulbs out or with LED
bars, disconnect those.

Trust that helps some

Thank you ,I will try these and see where I am at. So with the kill wire off I should get some spark providing the coil is good if not I will carry on chasing it down stream ,upstream whatever just chase it. Can ya tell I hate elec.
Thanks again and I hope to return saying it worked

If coil is good then yes you should have spark with kill wire disconnected.

Well not quite.
The spark is totally independant of the entire 12V electrical system.
The safety system is just a bunch of switches that can earth out the spark, all connected to a common wire.
Do not try and ow with th kill wire disconnected as there is no way to stop the engine quickly if needed.
So it is a diagnosis method only, not a temporary fix.

Yeuuuup.... there are spark checker tools which help with that
in a science way..buuut not always a necessary thing.

if not I will carry on chasing it down stream ,upstream whatever just chase it.
That's the ticket...try, it's all one can do without shellin' out some wads of
hard earned...often with dubious outcomes;-)

Nope... yer dippin' a toe in so ....
The truly paranoid just keep hittin' the key, with a hammer!
Seened it meselv.. on ewwt00b
