I have a Gravely ZT HD60 that only has 100 hours on it. I bought it with 60 hours from the original motor. I have recently noticed that when I turn the key, the starter won't turn. I originally thought the battery was dead but it did the same thing when I put the charger on. However if I hold the key for a few seconds, the starter eventually start to spin, build up speed and start like normal. It will stay that way until I let the machine sit a few days and then we are back to slow starting. Has anyone ran into this?

Thanks

Most like a corroded, or loose terminal someplace in the system. Could be any where from the positive battery cable, through the solenoid, to the starter, and where the ground wire hooks to the frame/engine back to the battery. could also be a corroded terminal someplace between the battery, through the safety switches, key switch to the start solenoid. You will have to just start checking terminals until you find it.
