mine broke. going to get one from dealer.

any instructions or precautions on install ?
any mods or changes from the factory?
it has the eyebolt to mount on chassis.
goes around idler mounting bolt
I help my daughter with hers a year ago on an ariens similar to this
no service manual available from Gravely. just operators manual which I have .
I bought this new 2 yrs ago.
my plans are to make sure belt is on the pulleys correct and loosen i bolt . hook spring (suggestion here) and tighten I bolt

I replaced my 07200023 deck belt earlier this season, and while I was under the mower I also checked the idler arm and tension spring. Even if the spring is the failed part, it's worth making sure the idler pivots freely and the pulleys spin smoothly before putting everything back together. It only takes a couple of extra minutes and can help prevent another failure.

I bought my 07200023 replacement belt from UDC Parts https://www.amazon.com/UDC-07200023-Ariens-Gravely-Replacement/dp/B0FCYGJL2P and it's been working great so far.
