hey guys thinking about selling my first 227 and getting something a little bigger. my local dealer wants to rob me or i feel as he didnt even want to look at mine before giving me a trade in price of $2000.00. I was told that is all it is worth, but i have a hard time believing that. I was thinking more along the line of 4000.00, i bought it in 2007 and it only has 650 hrs on it, the only thing wrong with it is the spring needs to be replaced on the grass chut becaiuse with my old trailer i had to keep it folded up. AM I BEING A DUMMY HERE??

bubba827,I'm using Compact Tractor Guide that T.S.C. sells.Not sure on the deck size you have so will start w/ the 227/52. High price for a 2007 is $8,023.00 low price $6,017.00.for a 227/61 ,high $9,211.00 low $6,908.00.On a 227/72 high $8,528.00 low $6,394.00. Not sure why the 61 is valued more than the 72 other than maybe the 61" deck is more popular. You might have more luck selling outright or on CL than a trade in price....russ
hey thanks mate that was just what I was looking for....mine is a 227 which is 27 hp and 52 inch cut....and ur correct there is noooo way I am letting it go for 2 grand, i will list it in local bargin trader here in eastern NC
