Grass catcher keeps plugging

I own a Cub Cadet XT1, with the 3-bag catcher. Seems like everytime we mow the lawn, the chute from the mower to the bags get plugged. What am I doing wrong? Mower is only a few years old, and ever since I installed the grass catcher, it has plugged up. Blades definitely need changing, but is this the problem?

If the flutes that provide the draught are worn or split then they can not pump enough air.
To bag properly you need high lift blades,'also cutting too long grass will clog the bagger.

Blades have everything to do with getting grass into a non-powered rear bagger. You should be running high-lift blades, also known as 2-in-1 blades (the 2 are bagging and discharging) with the air foils (sails) in good condition. You will have serious issues running mulching or 3-in-1 blades or blades with worn sails.
