PAM no-stick thru washout port with blades spinning before you cut!

It seems as if more would stay within the deck if the discharge chute is blocked. Have you tried that?

I'll just pour a little Canola or Corn oil in or maybe recycle 10w 30.

Do you know what else I did do in the past? I've decided to serrate an old blade with angle grinder and worn out (half round) 1/4" grinding disk and.....there was no significant improvement in cut quality over a regular straight edge blade!

Serrated edges were invented by Native Americans for cutting buffalo meat. Don't try making a flint mower blade. It ain't gonna work.

Taking the deck off every 4 or 5 uses is a pain and not very practical..
I usually sharpen my blades that often, and just scrape the deck clean while I'm at it.
Also, mulching dry leaves in the fall seems to do a pretty good job of cleaning off the grass build up on my deck.

Making sure the deck has a slope to the front of between 1/16" - 5/16" keeps the rear of my deck most always clean.. Just get a little in front. 3 minutes & it's clean. I use a wooden stake sharpened, I don't like using any metal scraper, that can scrape off underside paint.
