Governor Spring Unhooked

I have a Kohler CV15 and the governor spring has come unhooked, not from the governor arm but the other end (see photos). I can't see where it goes. Any help is appreciated.

Spring connects on the back of the control bracket.

Now I have to figure out how to get the spring end through it.

depending on how it is hooked into the governor arm, you may have to un hook from the arm, hook it to the control bracket, then hook it back to the governor arm.
