The toro riders are made by mtd. Most low names are made by mtd. Can get a 30-33" single blade rider such as the yard bug

Don't bang on TB to much. I think they have good equipment for a homeowner to use. However, mowing 1-3 acres, I think I would go a bit better built. John Deere has a X300 with a 42" deck for 2999 on their website. John Deere X300 with 42-in. Deck Lawn Tractor | JohnDeere.com

As to the OP, I don't think I would mow that much with a push mower. By the time you are done you would have to start all over again.
