Hey guys.
I have a 2002 Yamaha G22A golf cart.
A neigbor gave it to me claiming it didn't run. Well it wouldnt crank if you tried to, so what I did was I jumped the solinoid and it cranked up, and fired up.
I have been starting it that way for about a week now, and it never blew the 20 amp fuse that was in it. Until yesterday morining I went to start it, and blew the fuse.
I then put in another fuse, and it blew that one. I went through about 5 fuses before I gave up, and it blew fuses up to 30 amps, I dont wanna go any higher than that cause I don't wanna mess anything up.
but every once in awhile it will start up with out blowing a fuse, and sometimes it will start even with the fuse blown.
What do yuo guys think the issue is?
I know this isnt the right forum to post in, but here I am.
Hope fully you gys can help me out.
Thanks!

You have a dead short. With your limited knowledge of how electrical circuits work and electrical troubleshooting, that’s as far as I’m going to go.

Yeah.
Thats what I suspected but after searching for bare wire touching eachother, or bare wire grounding out on the frame, I couldn't find anything.
