I have a spark problem, replace the coil, and discounted the kill wire. still no spark.
it works just like my mower with the same type components. the magnet on the flywheel has a lot of pull.
My question is the flywheel is slighley magnetized, would that be the problem,if so how do I demagnetize the flywheel ?

There are magnets on the inside for the alternator and magnets on the outside for spark.
The inside magnetic field should cancel each other out.
I have never heard of this happening but there are a lot of things I have never seen also.
We really need to know what the engine is make & model number.
We also need to know what coil you fitted, brand & part number.
