Hi,
I recently bought a house in Northern Vermont that has a soapwort (bouncing bet) problem. This is an invasive rhizome that the previous owner allowed to spread across about a quarter of the lawn. I've tried to dig it up, but it spreads by it's roots and it just grows back.
I kept it in check all summer by mowing it really low. However, I've tilled that area and have planted cool weather grass so I'll be mowing it much higher.
I don't normally use chemicals, but I'm getting desperate. Anyone have any experience with a weed killer that will take out soapwort and not kill my lawn?
Thanks
