Getting ready for Spring

Well, I'm almost ready for spring. :smile:

My lawn tractor is ready for work (besides the muffler issues), had my mowing deck cleaned and the blades replaced yesterday.
Air filters have been replaced on the push mowers, and I also fired up the weed whacker, ran smoothly.

I think today I'm gonna clean both my push mowers, and also while I have them on their side I'm gonna have their blades sharpened.

I know here in Michigan we're about 2 weeks away from doing the first lawn.

Here in Tennessee I have been mowing for 4 weeks now. The weather is a little colder than it normally is but the grass is growing nonetheless.

Yep I started April 1 full swing now gaining at least one new customer a day

I know here in Michigan we're about 2 weeks away from doing the first lawn.

Not mowing in NH either, but I suspect we are a week or two out. Just put Gator blades on the mower today. :thumbsup:

I think we will be starting clean ups May 1st and cutting around the May 24 weekend...can't wait it's been along winter in northern ontario

Here in west Tennessee I usually start mowing around last of march or first of April. Put fertilizer down couple weeks ago. Killing all the weeds.

Some people in my neighborhood started mowing a couple of weeks ago. Snowed Monday night, but we are gonna start tomorrow, have three jobs lined up.

I am probably going to start mowing in 2-3 weeks. As of now I have done some power broom jobs and next week if the weather is good and there isnt too much rain I will be able to do some dethatching jobs. I have about 10 to do. I will also do some clean up jobs.

This is the second week I've been mowing; the first week to do all of my customers. I was busy working all day today. I perfected my trailer setup and am really liking it.
