Get nothing when I turn on the ignition switch

I have a Poulan 1338 lawn tractor. Nothing happens when I turn on the ignition switch. The lawn tractor was operating fine. I stopped it for about 5 minutes. When I tried to restart it - NOTHING. Then I replaced the ignition switch and solenoid. I disconnected the seat safety switch and reconnected the two wires with a wire nut. I have juice at the solenoid coming from the battery. When I put the key in the start position I get no juice at the three other posts on the solenoid. Just juice at the 4th post coming from the battery. What is my solution? Thank you in advance.

If you "jump" the starter , from the hot side of the solenoid, and it rotates , it's in the wiring harness ..... work backwards from that point . Could be a defective Ign. sw. , safety sw. , broken connection , bad ground cable. take nothing for granted !

This is probably not the problem, but this happened to me one time and I really felt stupid. When I stopped for a break, I forgot to disengage the blades. When I tried to start it again, nothing. Finally I realized what I had done, pulled the lever to off and it started like a champ. Of course, I'm old and have lost a lot of my "thinking power", but it is a simple mistake.

If you plan on repairing this yourself the very first thing you will need is a wiring diagram. This will be your road map to show you what to look for. Other then that it anybody's guess as I see coming already. Looks like you are already replacing parts you don't need. Even if you end up buying a service manual it will be cheaper then replacing parts you don't need.
