I have a simplicity conquest, that was starving for gas. Finally pulled the gas tank and found pine needles in the gas tank. was wondering if anyone else had this problem.

I have found fuel lines packed full of grass clippers from the tank to the filter. A fly with a head that would shut off the fuel flow out of the tank. Also last week found the little foam seal out of a bottom of stabil in the bottom of the tank that was causing fuel flow issues.

yep.
I could write a book about all of the stuff I have found in a "clean" fuel tank.
Plant matter is the worst because it sort of 1/2 floats so when the mower is running it gets sucked into the outlet and forms a plug, much like hair in the shower drain.
Then when you stop, they break up and float off
So you get the starving after an hours or so then works perfectly, then starves then works perfectly thing cycling over & over again.
