I have a 2021 TigerCat II, and I was putting gas in the tank with a small gas jug. It had those dumb lock safety devices. Anyway, the end if the spout fell off and fell into the tank. The piece that fell in is about 5”-6” long. It fell out of sight. I suppose my question is, how could I remove it without removing the tank and shaking it out upside down? and if that is the only realistic option, how do I remove the tank. It is the tank on the side with the key and controls.

I didn’t even think about that. I have an endoscope I use to find beehives behind walls and other obstructions. Perfect solution together with the grabber tool.

You might try using a wire coat hanger, bending one end to form a hook and try to fish it out.

I'd use something lighter in case it hangs up on something so it will bend easily to come out. If a coat hanger gets caught it is sayonara tank.
