I was just curious if Shell and Sunoco were offering the same deals on gas else where. I purchased the Sunoco 93 octane yesterday for $2.85 a gallon by doing my shopping at Winn Dixie.

I consider Canada to be a more advanced nation than ours.
But, their gas price is so much higher....
Why ?
And our price for heating oil......
I am slowing switching to heat pumps....economics....
The gas prices here in Iowa and south Dakota are about $3.39 per gallon , it was a little cheaper a couple weeks ago. Propane has come down a lot to $ 1.19 summer fill $1.25 to book .
I filled up yesterday at $3.49 per gallon and I had to shop for that, the aveage was $3.59. I have one of those F 250, super dutys with a 6.8L V10. I average around 9 or 10 miles per gallon. Sometimes I even make it to 11+. Since I'm retired it stays parked in the driveway more these days. We use it to haul a camper.
