Walt I agree you will not get gas into the crankcase with the engine running without poor running conditions. Could be possible that only one cylinder is firing and pushing gas past the rings or head gasket, or fuel pump leaking into crankcase while running or at rest. but leaking float valve would only fill crankcase while not running.

Walt and IL Engine I agree with both of ya'll........ A leaking needle and seat will not leak or let the gas get sucked back into the crankcase while it is running....

If the head gasket is blown then the crankcase pressure will go up due to the excess pressure caused by the blown gasket...... In his case it's 2 gaskets and maybe one is not firing, causing the gas to go in the case..........

I have seen gas in the cases with a blown gasket on a single cylinder, but not much.........

He said it backfired when he ran it with the diesel a few times... That will cause a gasket to start going bad...

The 92 side is starting to go out............. IMHO
