G100 John Deere

Found a G100 JD for sale. Looking to replace my Craftsman LT1000, it's still doing the job, so no big rush. The G100 is a 2003 from my research. It has a 25 hp Kohler engine, 54" deck and a K66C transmission. The guy says it has 635 hours on it. He's got it priced at $700, haven't done any hagling yet. From I've read these are a lower end commercial type mower, it looks great in the pictures. I don't really care for the new JD's in my price range, around $3000, because at that price point they have the B & S with the fancy oil filter that only changes less than a quart of your oil. So what's the G100 worth? 635 doesn't sound like too many hours to me, Kohlers are supposed to be really good, so any opinions, $700 to much?

That mower was only produced in 2003 to give you an idea of it age.

Well, someone thought it was a good deal, sold in less than a day! New mowers are in short supply around here, if you see a good deal on a used one, it goes fast!
