FX730V Bogs under load

You are starving for fuel under load. Most of the time that originates at the fuel tank or garbage in the fuel line. Some fuel lines collapse around areas with bends in them.

The other issue is if one cylinder is not producing power. The engine will not shake; it just loses power. A bad plug or a coil is suspect when this happens.
 
Going with lack of fuel delivery or possible dead cylinder. Couple more below.

Choke stuck on partial.
Trash in the tank
Dead internal fuel lines
Dirty carb
Open top gas can spout. THIS is where it all starts.........
Carb after-fire solenoid plunger sticking
Stale fuel with E-10 and water
Valve clearance never adjusted
Dead cylinder, no spark or push rod hanging in the wind.
Emulsion tube jammed up with trash
Scamazon or Fleabay spark plugs OR the famous TORCH brand.......
Fuel filter plugged
Inline fuel cut off valve plugged up
Leaking valves needing valve job, packed up with carbon

Bet it's time to check valve clearance, cooling fins and maybe de-carbon the cylinders per your engine manual.

From my experience, the valve lash check/adjustment can often be the root cause of many problems., especially if the valves have never been checked or adjusted after about 30 hours of engine run time. Valves will need a relatively short time to ‘seat in’ and then require a precise adjustment. Kawasaki’s typically are adjusted to a a gap of .004-.006inch. I always set the valves to.0045inch to take advantage of the max lift and duration. Once adjusted to this gap, the gap doesn’t change much at all, if any, after 200 hours of run time. At this gap, these engines will start easily and settle into a steady idle within 3 seconds. They will also start without the choke if the ambient temperature is 80F degrees and above. Keeping the valves precisely adjusted will add years to Kawasaki engines along with frequent oil changes.
 
Gee! I've never seen a .0045-inch feeler gauge. Most in the industry only to the 3rd place after the decimal point. .003, .004, .005, etc.
 
I read every post all the way to the end.
My situation. Husqvarna z254f with Kawasaki FR691V. Customer brought to me because the new blades he put on vibrate. I removed, filed the damage from the star pattern, reinstalled lined up correctly and put on a new belt. Took for a test, perfect. Then the engine stalled. I assumed out of gas (couldn't see any in the tank. Partially filled with fresh gas, it ran great for about 5 minutes then stalled again. Could almost save it by playing with choke, but not quite. Killing the PTO made no difference. So far, removed and cleaned tank, replaced fuel line, shut off, filter, vent hose (even new pump for good measure). Good flow from pump to carb. Then new plugs, new carb. (NGK AND OEM carb). Now just seems to die under load of PTO. Pulled each plug wire one at a time, both cyls run the same, well.
Customer says no such problem before only the blade vibration.
Stumped. Hoping to learn from the OP what cured his.
 
I suggest you pull the upper fan shroud and remove the coil kill wires, then install the fan cover and run it to see if the problem is still happening.

If it still happens, you will need an adjustable air gap spark tester, not the "flash bulb" type because they are not reliable.

Check the spark after the engine is hot and it acts up. A cold ignition coil will trick you.
