This mower was turned in to me after the engine shutting off slowly while driving (as if it had run out of fuel). Brought it in the shop and checked oil, spark plugs (tested both plugs in both coils), air filter, fuel filter, fuel pump, and the electronic carburetor shut-off pin. All were working as they should. For some reason though, the mower still won't start. It will turn over but acts like it doesn't have any fuel to it.
Anyone have any ideas?

Have you confirmed fuel flow to the carburetor? Checked the float/float valve for sticking?

Yes, there is fuel to the carb and the float/valve are working properly

Have you tried starting by spraying carb cleaner into the air horn?

Engines that are getting fuel, spark and compression don’t just quit and not restart. So, my thought then is you have a valve train issue. Check for bent or dropped pushrod(s) or stuck valves. This is what I would check next.
