Why am i leaking fuel at this fitting? I removed the filter housing and top of the carb to pour some gumout in the float cavity. After letting it sit for a couple weeks, it fire right up but squirts fuel out.

If fuel is coming the fuel vent fitting the float valve is not sealing as it should and fuel bowl is overflowing

you have circled the fuel inlet nipple. If it is the issue then it is either loose or you have a bad hose. It is your first post here. Welcome but are you a person or AI being trained?

Sgkent, that is the vent as Star stated, not fuel inlet. Fuel will also leak out the fuel vent if the gasket between the carb body and base is compromised.

And the replacement carburetor doesn't have vent apparently.

Would need the model and type to verify the correct PN.

Have you ever worked on a carburetor before? They are not to complex, but you need to take pictures as you go.

The top cover has to have the screws carefully removed, to inspect the inside of the carburetor bowl.

As high as that port is, must be a vent.

The replacement carb pic shows a welch block off plug I think.
