Had a guy come in the shop the other day and said he had a JD Mower and wanted to get rid of. I ask what he wanted he said for free, he was tired of fooling with. I said ok I'll take it. He even brought it to me. We unloaded it and he said his kids had pulled it and did not release the hydro and he thought it messed up the hydro. He said the brakes don't even work. I thought wow I bet I know what is wrong with it. Later I checked it out and sure enough the key was left out of the rear wheel. Put it back and it pulls just fine. Tried the deck out and the bearings will need replacings but for free I won't have much in it. My lucky day.
