My friend had this sign as his dad was a hobbiest repairing them. My first tractor was a Jacobsethumbnail 2.jpgn Chief, a 7 hp tractor with a single stage snow blower. Saw this sign and had to have it. Currently a Green paint buyer for modern lawn care equipment.

Nice! I'm guessing 50's to 60's? Has the old script Jacobsen instead of the new block letter Jacobsen. Don't let the guys from American Pickers see that.

Very nice! I like it. I worked on Jacobsens in the 70's found them to be a good product. Anybody remember the mowers with the big disc and four blades?

Yep, had one with the 321 engine, did a real nice job cutting BTW. They called it a turbo-cut. It started on the first pull EVERY time.

I think it is late 50s, early 60s. My friend has the original neon Cub Cadet sign with the tractor image. Just can't talk him out of it. I like the Jacobsen sign though. Just don't see them around. The new signs don't have the same charisma .
How I got two images in the post I have no idea.th.jpeg
