And your problem is with the unit or the owner?

The owner is an older gentleman who is a good customer. I have done annual maint on his JD rider for years. First time seeing this push mower. I won't tell him he put the blade on upside down. I see a few of these a year.

So do I, but I always tell the customer in a way that we can both laugh about it and go on. Today 99% of what I see are from people I’ve dealt with for years. Last year when I was dealing with health issues I even did it, but caught my error when I did my test run. Told the customer what happened and we both had a chuckle.

A bit of diplomacy will go a long way
If the only problem was the blade being upsiide down the I would have flipped it over and sent it back no charge
When he picks it up you make out it is a common problem becaue they are confusing and show him use the flute because it is a fan blade .
Most understand that concept .

Bought a couple good used mowers like that. Love it........ Owner states it just doesn't cut well anymore.

It is in for a surging prob and general maint. He is a great guy and I won't embarrass him. I will just fix it and go on.
