Ferris IS3000Z

I have a Ferris IS3000z. I am having a problem with starting it. When I turn the key there is not spark but as soon as I let go of the key it sparks and starts. . Does anybody know what would cause this?

WELCOME to LMF....

There is a problem with your Key switch... it is shorting out the kill wire when in the start position... :smile:KennyV
